Job Description
As a Personal Assistant, you'll provide non-medical support that helps older adults remain independent and gives families peace of mind.
Responsibilities
* Companionship and meaningful conversation
* Transportation to appointments, errands, and social outings
* Grocery shopping and personal shopping
* Light housekeeping
* Light meal preparation
* Home organization
* Appointment accompaniment
* Being a trusted helping hand for clients and families
* Other non-medical concierge services
Position Details
Position: PRN Personal Assistant
Starting Pay: $18.00/hour
Employment Type: PRN (As Needed)
As a PRN Personal Assistant, you have the flexibility to choose when you're available to work. Client assignments are based on client demand and your availability, allowing you to maintain a schedule that works best for you.
While there are no guaranteed weekly hours, many team members appreciate the flexibility that PRN offers. Whether you need time off for vacation, family, school, another job, or personal commitments, you can update your availability without being penalized.
As Serene continues to grow, our goal is to provide additional opportunities and hours to Personal Assistants who are dependable, engaged, and interested in taking on more client assignments.
With the future launch of the Serene app, client requests will become even more flexible, allowing Personal Assistants to accept available service requests that fit their schedules, similar to an on-demand platform.
Employment Requirements
Applicants must:
* Have a valid driver's license
* Have reliable transportation
* Maintain current automobile insurance
* Own a smartphone
* Demonstrate professionalism and compassion
If hired, team members are responsible for obtaining and paying for:
* Level II Background Screening
* Current CPR Certification
These requirements must be completed before receiving client assignments.
